So you've acquired massive wealth, have the best armor money can buy, and what do you have to show for it? A caveman stick commonly used by beggars and the like.
This mod adds more lighting options to the game, all using the torch slot. They are as followed:
Default Torch (just for quick comparison, no changes made)
Light Range: +0%
Base Value: 0
Lifespan: 16 minutes
Info: The basic wick wrapped around a stick. Cheap and practical.
Available: everywhere
Deluxe Torch
Lighting Range: +10%
Base Value: 30
Lifespan: 32 minutes
Info: Sort of a middle-class torch. Has a more refined 'fuel' burn so it's a bit better.
Available: Copious Coinpurse in IC Market District, Borbagas Goods and Stores in Cheydinhal, Lelle's Quality Mercandise in Anvil, The Fair Deal in Bravil
Witchhunter's Torch
Lighting Range: +30%
Base Value: 50
Lifespan: 25 minutes
Info: A tall, hot burning torch. Note the flame sprite is different on this one, puts out a good bit of smoke too.
Available: The Fair Deal in Bravil
Royal Torch
Lighting Range: +15%
Base Value: 100
Lifespan: 32 minutes
Info: An upper-class torch, similar to the deluxe torch in function. A wider wick allows for a brighter burn.
Available: Borbagas Goods and Stores in Cheydinhal, Lelle's Quality Mercandise in Anvil
Infused Welkyd Light
Lighting Range: -25%
Base Value: 150
Lifespan: 2 hours
Info: While already putting out a soft glow, craftsman magically infused it with more power to put out a respectable amount of light. It doesn't last forever though.
Available: Copious Coinpurse in IC Market District, Arcane University Lustratorium
Varla Beacon
Lighting Range: +20%
Base Value: 1500
Lifespan: Virtually forever
Info: Significantly more receptive to infusing, these rocks will put out light for so long its unknown how long they'll stay lit.
Available: Arcane University Lustratorium
Depleted Sigil Lamp
Lighting Range: +0%
Base Value: 3000
Lifespan: Virtually forever
Info: Old, depleted sigil stones may have exceeded their usefulness for significant purposes, but they still put out at least enough light to be of some use. May not be the most powerful light, but it's rarity will cost you. Apparently a freelance adventurer acquired one and sold it in Leyawin where it's on sale for a "museum price".
Available: Leyawin Best Goods and Guarantees
